College as its BASE

SCSC will function from a College, as its base in every city to serve the villages around Any of the 8 service organisations can take the initiative to form their SCSC (the Coalition)

Sangamam

Sangamam is indeed a wonderful organisation which will be involved in preserving Rural Fine Arts and Village Folk Arts and promote these ancient treasure.

The Consequences of Global Warming

• Melting of Glaciers, Ice Caps and Ice Mountains as a natural cause of the drastic increase in the atmospheric temperature will become  the reason of huge  flooding of land.
• Flooding, Inundation and erosion of coastal area  due to  the rise in the sea levels may even cease to exist. Even when the sea water recedes the land and water will become unusable as they will become saline. Even in places where the seaintrusion is milder , it will affect coastal agriculture, fisheries, and aquaculture, fresh water sources and human settlements  ( Atmosphere  Warming )
• Cyclones and hurricanesare becoming more furious, stronger, violent , virulent and volatile than before due to getting charged by seas which have become warmer which in turn  will take heavy toll of life and property of  people. ( Wind Warming due to Sea  Warming )
• Heat Waves will destroy  human, animal, sea and plant life.  Heat waves  will cause heat related epidemics and those via bacteria (Wind Warming)
• Frequent Forest Fires due to excess heat will lead  to destruction of certain species ,loss of green cover and smoke pollution
• Drought will be yet another consequence of the increase in temperature. There will be steep fall in agricultural and sea food production due to Global Warming (Soil Warming & Sea Warming. Tropical Forests and  Grass Lands will disappear. Barrenlands will increase steeply.
• Death of Rivers is another  expected serious consequence. The availability of water in the rivers will decrease. The rivers which depend on for water from Ice Mountains will die.
• Desertification will be continuous. While sizable land will be engulfed by sea water, there will also be a loss of usable land due to desertification which means deserts will grow due to excess heat produced by Global Warming. (Soil Warming). This will also be a cause for loss of cultivable land.
• Hunger due to reduction in Agricultural and Sea Food Production will be unavoidable. 
• Violence and crimeswill be the order of the day due to hunger and poverty 
• Civil Wars will break out between a new tribe, Environmental Refugees and the local inhabitants.

• Rotary is regarded for Vocational Service & Community Service.
• Lions known for Community Service particularly Health Service.
• ExNoRa’s name is synonymous with Environmental Service.
• Round Table specialises on Educational Service.
• Jaycees concentrates Youth Leadership Development Service
• Indian Red Cross is recognised for disaster relief and medical service.

How the activities will be carried on ?

1. “Service Club Synergy Coalition Parent Chapters” will be formed in all / cities towns which will be pooling all the service clubs, draw plan / blueprint for each village around their town, form separate “SCSC Service Arm” for each village to be adopted with one club of each of the service clubs operating in the city to implement their respective agenda for the village adopted by them .
2. In each village adopted by the concerned “Service Club Synergy Coalition Parent Chapter” through the related “SCSC Service Arm” meant for that village an “SCSC Implementation Chapter” will be formed in order to work with , receive and pass on the benefits to the people. The Chapter will consist of the representatives of the branches/ activities of the individual service club e.g. RCC of Rotary , ExNoRa Innovators Club, a village branch of ExNoRa, etc.

Who can initiate ?

• Any one of the Service Organisations
• Any Educational Institution
• Any patriotic & environmentally conscious citizen
• Representatives of Central , State & Local Governments
• Representatives of the Print & Visual Media
• A resident / organisation in any village

Personnel

The programme will be rendered purely as honourary service by Service Clubs who are part of the SCSC. Still we advise that it will be wise to appoint a suitable educated youth with passion to serve “SCSC Social Architects” for each village adopted by the Service Coalition .
