Why the focus is on Villages & Slums ?
The people particularly the farmers / farm workers deserttheir villages and migrate to cities. Result their villages become barren and the cities become hell due to mushrooming of SLUMS. They go to cities due to 8 essentials which they don’t get in their village . If they get the 8 Essentials (8 Sigma) for village rejuvenation , they will happily stay in their villages and the village will flourish and cities won’t suffer. By one ACTION we can help both Cities & Villages. Further the people in villages & slums suffer. They need our help .
The 8 ‘E’s (Essentials )
- Employment (Including self-employment)
- Education
- Energy (Better health facilities)
- Environment (Physical , Natural & Social)
- Enhancement (Individual Development )
- Existence (Survival )
- Ethics (Non adherence of Human Rights & other RIGHTS )
- Entertainment (Rural Folk & Fine Arts )
The Proposal
Proposal is being submitted to the Service Organisations whose names are mentioned in this Blue Print for their consideration to join a Service Organisations Coalition by name SC SC (Service Clubs Synergy Coalition )
The Service Clubs are the 5th Pillar of a democracy
These clubs enroll interested citizens as members and develop them as Samaritans, broad minded gentlemen and matured citizens with all-round leadership capabilities. Those who become members of these service organisations , by and large , can never be parochial and bother about the man made differences in the name of castes , languages and religions. No doubt the service clubs are collectively the 5th Pillar of a democracy. They should come together form a coalition , complement each other and serve people. To do this, the Platform now available is SCSC (Service Clubs Synergy Coalition)
Today the villages face one problem, villagers migrating to cities for at least 6 important major reasons
- If these things are provided in the village itself, people will stay in the village itself. They will not migrate to city thus village deserting their village and creating slums in cities.
- It is not just these organisations mentioned above alone render service. There are many local NGOs, Private Trusts , Governments etc.
